This is why we keep doing it year after year!
During Open Enrollment it can become just chaos trying to renew everyone with ACA coverage. We are dealing with glitches, errors, 3-way calls to the marketplace that make no sense, and grumpy clients, and sometimes we get beat down. Then, a client takes the time to send an email that just makes it all worthwhile. :) Hi Kris: A big THANK YOU for getting this all set for me in 2025! I really appreciate all your time spent and getting it all taken care of for me during this crazy time of the year for you and your staff! You really know your stuff on insurance and you have been a real life saver for me on this insurance stuff. Meet the Staff – Marissa! Marissa is our Client Services Specialists in the Employee Benefits department. She started with Next Step in October of 2023. She wasn’t looking specifically for this line of work, but feels it chose her, and she couldn’t be more happy about it! She describes her duties this way: “I assist the group broker with a group’s enrollment from beginning to completion and beyond. My favorite aspect of the job is doing data entry, making notes, and being able to bring my golden retriever, Tucker, to the office.” When not taking care of our clients, she enjoys video games, crochet, reading, writing, and nurturing lost-cause plants.
