NEXT Innovation Scholar | Honors Medical Sciences Student at University of Cincinnati College of Medicine '27
I am thrilled to share that my team and I took home the 1st place title at the Future of Mobility + AI Design Sprint hosted by the MIT Media Lab City Science Lab X Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) X University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning X UC Digital Futures. This was an incredible experience for me, and I am extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to participate in it. The project was a great reminder of how important it is to get outside your bubble. There are numerous struggles that we might be unaware of in our community, and design sprints like this help us not only recognize them but also ideate and prototype innovative solutions. I worked with a phenomenal team that emphasized the importance of transdisciplinary groups. Medical sciences, economics, industrial design, and computer science majors came together to create something special. Thank you to my NEXT Innovation Scholars team, Maxwell Kemats, Jackie Cunningham, and Faith Rider, for making this so fun; you are all just so amazing. Thank you to Alejandro Lozano Robledo and Heekyoung Jung for creating such an impactful experience, and to Luis Alberto Alonso Pastor and Gabriela Bila Advincula for your support and expertise throughout the entire process!
