Her playlist may be unpredictable but everything else about Tara Chapman is dependable, reliable, and fun. When she’s on the clock she is the wizard behind the curtain. She’s the wordsmith behind every social media post (except this one ??). She’s the craftsman behind NexGen’s website (and it’s brand new, too. Go check it out). She’s the mathematician behind all the payroll, payouts, and invoicing. She’s the critical thinker behind every painfully-detailed process and procedure that keeps NexGen operating like a well-oiled machine. She’s the one dropping anything she’s in the middle of to help us out with something she’s probably already taught us a million times before and she doesn’t even complain. She’s patient and kind and never waivers in her ability to show friendship above all else. When she’s not keeping us all in line at work, she’s keeping it together at home. You’ll find her homeschooling her kids, coming up with the most creative ways to make vegetables taste amazing, chasing the sun and the waterfalls with her girlfriend, shaking-what-her-Momma-gave-her at a concert, and finding peace in a road trip with that playlist blaring. She is a student of life, constantly seeking knowledge and growth. A mother of 3, a sister to 2 brothers, a friend of everyone she meets, a role model to us all, and still finds a way to be the glue that holds everyone together. If all that’s not enough, Tara is the one who makes sure we all stop and find a little time to unwind. You’ve probably seen pictures on social media of us all eating together, kayaking together, celebrating holidays together, gathering together for birthdays and baby showers, and pulling all of our families together for a pool-side cookout at Mr. B’s house. None of that would happen without her perseverance in finding time on all of our very busy calendars. If all this behind-the-scenes work ever feels invisible, Tara certainly does not go unseen.
