Congratulations to a recent addition to downtown Fitchburg’s restaurant scene – Tacos Don Juan! We joined owner Juan Reinoso Luna for the official ribbon cutting of his Mexican restaurant last week and presented him with a Certificate of Completion from NewVue’s Small Business team. We were thrilled to play a role in helping Juan get his new small business off the ground. Stop by 356 Main St. for a friendly atmosphere, delicious tacos and fresh guacamole!

NewVue’s Executive Director Marc Dohan recently joined leaders from across the Federal Reserve System in Chelsea to talk about the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston’s Working Cities Challenge. Marc shared his own experiences working with the program and the transformational impact it’s had on Fitchburg’s North of Main neighborhood since 2014. He said Working Cities helped community members unite around a vision of the neighborhood as a ‘gateway to arts and culture,’ to make it more attractive to residents, businesses, and investors. “One of the things the Fed has helped us to do is ingrain this change into our community,” he said. https://lnkd.in/enbJXRhD Photo credit: Michael Konstansky/Federal Reserve Bank of Boston
