Help us welcome Deputy Kelton Brenton, Deputy Roderick Jones, Deputy Jarrod Johnson, Bailiff Victor Partee, Detention Officer Vincent Stafford, and Deputy Aaron Hoitsma to our team! ?? #CommittedtoExcellence

Congratulations to the 14 graduates of the Residential Substance Abuse Treatment (RSAT) Program and the eight graduates of the #1 Dads Program, who completed their programs on August 9th! C One of 14 graduates of the RSAT graduates transferred to State RSAT but did successfully complete our program. The RSAT program offers incarcerated individuals an opportunity for rehabilitation through a three-month course that focuses on building cognitive, behavioral, social, vocational, and other critical skills to overcome substance abuse challenges. Through a continual partnership with Action, Inc., the #1 Dads Program is offered at the Newton County Detention Center. This program is dedicated to helping adult fathers strengthen or rebuild relationships with their children, spouses, or partners. By providing workshops, case management, and job skills training, it promotes responsible fatherhood, healthy marriages, and economic stability. #NewtonCountySheriff #JailPrograms #CommittedToExcellence
