Paul Newman would have turned 100 on Sunday, January 26, and we want to take this year to celebrate his generosity and groundbreaking approach to making the world a better place. In 1982, Paul and his longtime friend A.E. Hotchner started selling salad dressing through Newman's Own, Inc., and decided to give all the profits made away to good causes. 40+ years later, and we’re still doing it! The result? Since 1982, Paul and Newman’s Own Foundation have given away over $600 million dollars. Inspired by Paul’s generosity and Newman’s Own, we want to support the next generation of organizations dedicating 100% of their profits to social impact causes through the launch of the 100% for Purpose? Club, along with our friends at Humanitix. And, our CEO Alexandra Amouyel recently recorded a TED Talk (live today!) on the topic!
