She has a background working on healthcare projects and recently completed a project for the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, KS. Emily brings dedication, positivity, and professionalism to every project she works on. Whether coordinating project logistics, solving problems, or assisting her team, her commitment to excellence shines through in everything she does. One of her teammates shared, "Emily always has a smile and will happily assist with anything anyone needs. She is a bright light in our office, and we are so lucky to have her on our team." Emily's hard work and positive spirit make her an invaluable part of Newkirk Novak Construction Partners, and we are so grateful for all she does! Recently, we toured Park Hill School District’s new Angeline Washington Elementary School, getting a firsthand look at the vibrant space that will soon welcome students. A huge shoutout to Sawyer Warren and EVERETT DEXTER for hosting us and sharing their stories, lessons learned, and insights from the building experience. Some of our team also attended yesterday’s On The Rise KC conference, where women in design and construction came together to inspire and connect. Bethany has been a part of Newkirk Novak Construction Partners for two years as an intern, and we were thrilled to welcome her full-time this January after she graduated from Pittsburg State University. A strong work ethic and passion for learning, Bethany has seamlessly transitioned into her role as a Field Engineer, with career aspirations of becoming a Superintendent who will manage day-to-day on-site operations. Currently working on a school renovation for Platte County School District, Bethany has proven her ability to adapt, solve problems, and collaborate with her team to drive projects forward. One of her teammates shared, "Bethany consistently shows up with a positive attitude and is always ready to take on the day's challenges. She approaches learning with enthusiasm and demonstrates excellent organizational skills. Bethany is an invaluable asset to our team, and I look forward to seeing her grow and succeed in the coming years." Bethany's dedication and teamwork make her a rising star in the industry. ??♀? #WICWeek2025 SPOTLIGHT: Carly Hendrickson! ??♀? Celebrating Carly! Meet Carly Hendrickson, Project Engineer, who started with Newkirk Novak Construction Partners in 2023. Carly attended Missouri State University and has become an integral part of the teams she has contributed to since beginning her career. Carly spends a lot of her time on site and enjoys being a visible member of the project team. Aside from her day-to-day responsibilities, you will find Carly representing NNCP at career fairs, building relationships, and being an involved emerging professional around KC! One of her teammates said, "Carly was a huge asset on the?Grain Valley Schools?project. She helped me acclimate to the job, trade partners find submittals, kept up with all the finish coordinations and RFIs, and built strong team relationships. She always does an awesome job and has a professional and positive attitude that keeps projects on track and successful." Exciting moments at Dogwood Elementary! Our team joined Kearney School District as students and staff braved the chilly temperatures for a ceremonial beam signing, leaving their mark on the future of their school. Seeing the excitement as they watch their new spaces take shape is always fun and makes these milestones even more special! We're grateful for our continued partnership with Kearney Schools as exciting bond progress continues across multiple projects around the district. Our team enjoyed celebrating partnerships in Real World Learning at the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation's "Get on the Bus!" luncheon last week. It is always inspiring to see the passion and commitment of the Kansas City education and business community in providing students with real opportunities that impact their future and the future of our businesses!
