New Hope for Families

Thank you to the Indiana Daily Student for the wonderful coverage of last week's Hope for the Holidays tree festival! We loved reading the thoughtful quotes from our volunteers and supporters!

Last week was our sixth annual Hope for the Holidays tree festival and this week is Thanksgiving, and it is in that spirit that we wish to express our deepest thanks to our event partners, especially our presenting sponsor IU Credit Union. All of these valuable partners helped make this year's Hope for the Holidays our most successful to date! Their generous support made it possible for every dollar raised during the event to go directly to assistance for families struggling through the crisis of homelessness right here in our community. We could not do this important work without the support of partners like these. Thank you all for being part of the hope movement!

You never know who you'll see at Hope for the Holidays. Yesterday we had appearances by both Santa Claus and Mayor of Bloomington Kerry Thomson! TODAY (Wednesday, Nov. 20) is your LAST chance to see all of these wonderful and whimsical trees on display in the pavilion at Switchyard Park. Doors open at 4:00 p.m. and live auction begins at 6:00 p.m. Bring the whole family to share in the holiday spirit. Admission is free!
