It was a great experience being part of the "Digitally Augmented Therapies" panel at #FrontiersHealth in Berlin. I had the pleasure of joining Megan Coder, Marcus Bates, Suhas Krishna, Mithun Ratnakumar, and Eugene Borukhovich in discussing how digital solutions can enhance traditional therapies, with a strong emphasis on the importance of the human-in-the-loop approach in these innovations. Frontiers Health, as usual, was dynamic and exceptionally well-organized, featuring great panels and incredible people from across the #HealthCare ecosystem. Today, on World Parkinson's Day, we are excited to share an update on the progress of Newel Health's digital therapeutic solution, Soturi, aimed at advancing Parkinson's disease management. Following a research grant from The Michael J. Fox Foundation, our team has been dedicated to developing Soturi to provide a personalized approach to treatment and medication management for those affected by Parkinson's. The first phase of our study is nearing conclusion, and involves data collection from participants across Italian study centers. The insights gained will be used by our data science team to refine Soturi's treatment recommendations algorithm, enhancing the support provided to neurologists through the platform's decision support system. We are grateful for the ongoing support from The Michael J. Fox Foundation and are committed to furthering our research to improve the lives of those living with Parkinson's disease.
