Who, What, Where Wednesday? Featuring the cities where we have a New Canaan Society chapter. This week it is Anna Maria Island, Florida. Anna Maria Island is a seven-mile-long barrier island on Florida’s Gulf Coast, situated west of Bradenton. Known for its laid-back vibe, the island draws visitors with its award-winning beaches, turquoise waters, and stunning Gulf sunsets. The island comprises three cities: Anna Maria (on the north end), Holmes Beach (in the middle), and Bradenton Beach (to the south). NCS Anna Maria Island is the only New Canaan Society chapter at which you will literally have your toes in the sand during the chapter meeting. If you are visiting Anna Maria Island make sure to join the Boys on the Beach every Wednesday morning at 8:30 am at AMI Beach Cafe.

Who, What, Where Wednesday? Featuring the cities where we have a New Canaan Society chapter. This week it is New Haven, CT. New Haven is a coastal city situated on the northern shore of Long Island Sound. New Haven was one of the first planned cities in the U.S., with its iconic “Nine Square Plan” featuring the New Haven Green - a 16-acre square at the heart of Downtown New Haven. The city is home to Yale University, a major contributor to its economy, although New Haven has recently become known as the city with the best pizza in the world. NCS New Haven actually meets in North Haven. They have developed a strong connection among the men. They have a strong ministry of prayer for men and their community. Thankful that they are standing in the gap in an important, educated city.

Who, What, Where Wednesday? Featuring cities where we have a New Canaan Society chapter. Today is Miami/Coconut Grove, FL. Coconut Grove, colloquially known as “The Grove,” is an affluent and the oldest continuously inhabited neighborhood in Miami-Dade County. This lush, bayside area exudes tropical charm, with banyan trees, palms, and live oaks lining quiet residential streets. Parks, green spaces, and peacocks roaming wild along the Biscayne Bay shoreline add to its bohemian allure. NCS Miami/Coconut Grove is a varied group of young and more experienced marketplace men. They meet every Friday at 8 a.m. at Berries in the Grove in Miami.
