Women often go into different businesses than men and start and run them differently. They can face different hurdles that can make it harder for them to succeed. Access to capital is one good example. This is why New York Women in Business was formed. A diverse coalition of professional women's business organizations, we united because we believe we are stronger together. Whether it is education, mentoring, or networking, our goal is to help women entrepreneurs grow professionally and succeed in one of the most competitive markets in the world. Our members work in more than industries and businesses in New York City’s tri-state area. We have leaders in financial and digital marketing services, wellness, arts and entertainment, and more. They include female entrepreneurs, innovators, small business founders and owners in business to business and business to consumer services and the nonprofit environment. We share a motivation for achievement and prosperity. We value relationships with other dynamic women, learn from one another, and share resources in order to achieve our goals.
