Today Governor Kathy Hochul announced that $22 million is available for projects aimed at strengthening and modernizing New York’s electric grid. Funded by a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)’s Grid Resilience and Tribal Formula grant, the program will support projects that help to ensure the reliability of infrastructure and broaden access to clean energy for New Yorkers, supporting the transition to a zero-emission electricity system.
