Last year New York Stage and Film made room for us to bring 6 sober writers up to New York to work on various pieces. Jake Brasch wrote HOW TO DRAW A TRIANGLE. And now there's a reading next Friday at 3. If you're in town, come join us! Aaron is a musical theatre-obsessed fifth grader who pogo sticks to school and wears a fanny pack at all times. Unable to write legibly or catch a ball, Aaron is sent to work with Ms. Jimenez, a severely depressed Occupational Therapist. After initially clashing, the two begin to form an unlikely bond. How to Draw a Triangle is a new comedy about emerging queerness, the wreckage of our past and the heroes who go out on a limb to help us become ourselves. https://lnkd.in/efd3GMzs
