A graduate of the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business, she began her career at KPMG as an intern in the Miami office, moving to New York in 2005 and becoming a partner shortly thereafter.?In addition to being the Office Managing Partner of New York, she is the Global tax industry leader for KPMG’s building, construction, and real estate practice. In 2021, she led the decision to relocate KPMG’s headquarters to 2 Manhattan West, a 58-floor tower in Hudson Yards, beginning in 2025—a move that reaffirmed the firm’s commitment to New York City. We welcomed over 30 tech-savvy The City University of New York (CUNY) students to an exclusive industry trek with Accenture, diving deep into the intersection of tech and consulting. This immersive experience gave #CUNYtalent a first-hand look at?Accenture’s culture, an in-depth overview of their Summer Analyst role, and direct insights from former summer analysts who successfully transitioned to full-time senior analysts.? ? The event kicked off with?welcome remarks from Rajai Gooden, managing director and CUNY Executive Sponsor, who shared?Accenture’s story, its culture of innovation, and its commitment to?driving reinvention?upward mobility.?Alissa Marena, CUNY recruiter, then provided invaluable guidance on crafting standout applications and excelling in the Summer Analyst selection process.? ? Last month, we had our first industry trek of the year hosted by Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, Kirkland & Ellis, and Ropes & Gray LLP, bringing together top law firms to provide invaluable insights to the next generation of industry leaders. More than 30?The City University of New York (CUNY) students?attended?the trek, featuring?a panel discussion?with?professionals from various disciplines, including proud CUNY alumni. Thank you to our panelists—Robert Galluccio, Alexis Crespin, FMP, Frances Pena, Sasha Papirov, and Harris Semertzidis—for sharing their career journeys, challenges they’ve overcome, application tips, and what inspired them to pursue law.
