Being in business since 1889, our company certainly knows heavy-duty manufacturing and serving our customers. From our modest sheet-metal shop beginnings in Chicago, we have grown to be an international leader in the industrial fan marketplace. In fact, nyb currently has more than 200 representatives with fifteen manufacturing facilities worldwide. This simplifies the process for customers to access our fans, services, and custom solutions. In February, 2023 we opened a fifth state-of-the-art plant in Mississippi, expanding our products and services to customers in the southeast.

?? DOE Withdraws Energy Regulation for Commercial and Industrial Fans ?? On January 13th, 2025, the US Department of Energy (DOE) officially withdrew the proposed rule on energy conservation standards for fans and blowers. This withdrawal likely indicates that the Department of Energy will not be pursuing an energy regulation at the federal level for several years into the foreseeable future. However, this change in course by the DOE does not mean that the country will be without energy regulations for industrial fans. It is widely believed that other states will follow in the footsteps of the California Energy Commission and implement energy regulations in partnership with environmental advocacy organizations.?
