??This is for all you nonprofits out there [drops the beat]... Natalie's not a DJ, but she does know a little something about Google Ad Grants. That's pretty much the same thing. If your Ad Grant campaigns aren't reaching enough people, this blog post is for you. https://lnkd.in/eZruKsej

When WordPress websites are hacked, it's frequently because of out-of-date plugins and other weaknesses that most people wouldn't even know to look for. Unless you really want random Cialis ads on your website (no shade if you do!), we recommend managed hosting. We offer this to keep WordPress websites up to date, safe, secure, and looking good.

I (Natalie) started doing SEO around the end of 2009, and it's been a wild ride. Okay, maybe not wild, but certainly roller coaster-ish. With that said, some things haven't changed all that much. Google wants to believe that your website is important and well-liked, and overall the ways you convince Google of that are pretty much the same--as long as you're being ethical about it. The biggest change in Google search is that Google now favors itself and its own properties over external websites. This is why you need to be active on as many of Google's properties (think YouTube, Google Business, etc.) as possible and not just rely on your website to bring you traffic. With the recent anti-trust ruling, we will see more big changes in how Google works over the next few years, and New Why is always expanding and adapting how we do SEO to meet these changes. Here I am at my first SEO conference in the summer of 2011. Ah, to be young and innocent again, hugging a robot in Seattle.

No matter who you're voting for in November, you probably agree somewhat with the other side about this one thing. Natalie wrote this back in 2017, but most of it is still true (aside from the fact that Twitter is now called X). https://lnkd.in/esaqU-77

If you're tracking your organic search traffic or your keyword rankings, you may be seeing wild swings. Anyone? Anyone? Google's integration of AI has been like watching a dog learn how to ride a unicycle. Or maybe like fishing without bait. Or throwing handfuls of dollars bills into the air, just to see where the wind blows them (thanks, AI, for assembling all those into an image for me). This is why you HAVE to invest in a well-rounded digital marketing strategy that doesn't rely solely on organic traffic from popular keywords. https://lnkd.in/eTeFFYNA

We're proud to be a Colorado business! Today is Colorado Day, which celebrates Colorado becoming a state in 1876. According to People of the Sacred Land "In recent times the United States government legally recognized the Cheyenne and Arapaho Nations as the owners of the land through the Fort Laramie Treaty of 1851. At least 48 other nations occupied this land in the last 500 years." This land has a long and beautiful history before statehood. Here's a photo of Cirque Meadow from Michelle's recent camping trip there. We love you, Colorado!

Streeaam. Stream stream stream, streeeeeam. Only trouble is, gee whiz, I'm streamin' my life away. Right? I mean, a lot of people are. That's why we offer Hulu Advertising management, so you can catch people streamin' their lives away. Okay, I know that sounds cynical, but most of us spend some time on Hulu every week, and a lot of people don't pay for ad-free Hulu. That means your business or nonprofit can reach local people who match your ideal customer, and they'll see you right there on their screens. https://lnkd.in/eQeiVNxB

Michelle wrote this blog post years ago (years!), before COVID changed how we office. "To office" is a verb, right? I office, you office, he/she/they office. Anyway, maybe it's a permanent change, maybe not. But either way, lots of business owners are considering what accountability looks like when we're officing all over the place. We made a few edits to make it relevant for the 2020s.

Does your website lack traffic, does it lack conversions, or does it lack both? Our growth plans identify the lack, and work to build you up! Contact us today and let's talk growth plan. 'Tis the season to think about how social media algorithms influence elections.
