The New Mexico Economic Development Department (EDD) has released its first outcomes report from the Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) Office, which was established in April 2021. The JEDI Office has worked to ensure all New Mexican business owners, regardless of background, can access EDD resources to thrive. The report highlights JEDI initiatives’ impact in empowering diverse communities and promoting equity. Key program highlights include a statewide Business Resource Directory, the SSBCI TA Program with 48 workshops, Cultural Business Summits, the inaugural JEDI Grant Program awarding $50,000, and the New Mexico Business Incubator Certification Program with $3M in funding.
