A ticking time-bomb: 100+ year old brass piping... One of our insurance partners referred us to this client in New England last week. The request was for an automatic water shutoff valve installation and some other helpful plumbing updates to protect the client's home. When Beagle showed up, there was an active leak on the 100 year old brass piping. We turned off the water, installed the automatic shutoff valve and updating the historic piping to protect the property. Beagle encounters circumstances like this every week. I used to be surprised. We've even seen a few properties fall out of escrow for a failure to meet the insurance requirement of installing a smart valve! Without the valve, there is no insurance. Without insurance, there is no mortgage. We are starting to see more and more valve installation requests from home buyers and sellers as insurance is harder to get. I never thought Beagle Services, Inc. would help people buy and sell their home.
