New Jersey Protective Moms (NJPM) is a 501(c) (3) grassroots organization founded by two Protective Moms after facing tremendous adversity in Family Court. Their shared experience, unbreakable bond and passion to help others became the inspiration behind New Jersey Protective Moms. The Family Court system is often misused by high-conflict litigants and domestic abuse perpetrators. There is often no consequence for this harmful legal strategy and the damage inflicted on the family is devastating. The repercussions of misuse without consequence are severe and far-reaching to New Jersey's children, Protective Moms and the entire New Jersey Family Law system. Through a multi-prong approach of advocacy, awareness, collaboration and education, our mission is to improve New Jersey's Family Court system. New Jersey Protective Moms believes that child safety should be the top priority of Family Court. NJPM is dedicated to creating workable solutions that address the systemic problems plaguing New jersey's Family Courts. Our goal is clear; create a trauma informed, research-based Family Court system in New Jersey that prioritizes child safety above all.
