Congratulations to Jonathan Anotado Gapilango, MSN, RN, and Stephanie Richter, DNP, RN, on their 2024 Nurse Recognition Awards from the New Jersey League For Nursing (NJLN)! Jonathan and Stephanie were among those honored at the NJLN's 2024 Nurse Recognition and Scholarship Award Program, themed “Illuminating Nursing Excellence: An Evening Among the Stars,” held this month. Jonathan Gapilango also received a NJLN Scholarship Award. Jonathan has been a nurse for more than 30 years, with 20+ years spent in #oncology. In 2020, he was appointed Administrative Director of Oncology Performance Measures and Accreditation at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Stephanie Richter is Director, Center for Professional Development, Innovation and Research (CPDIR), at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. She's an experienced Nursing Professional Development Specialist with a demonstrated history of executing initiatives that align with organizational strategic priorities, improving departmental operations, mentoring staff through scholarly inquiry, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
