Morris, and even though he’s spent years helping out at his mom’s grocery store (Hutchinson, just 5 miles down the road), he’s still learning all kinds of new stuff—especially how different things run at a store that sells off-brand items. On the Job Evaluation Spotlight: Troy McKnight 🌟 We’re excited to share some photos of Troy McKnight during his On the Job Evaluation (OJE) at General Bearing Corporation! General Bearing is a manufacturing facility specializing in components for railway, mining, and construction equipment. This partnership was made possible through a grant program with the Autism Alliance of Michigan, which helped us establish several new OJE sites across Oakland County. Troy is the first individual we’ve placed at General Bearing, and it’s been a fantastic match. He holds a certification in Industrial Maintenance from MIAT, making this site an excellent fit for his skills and career goals. Kathy Sirois, Troy’s job coach, reports that he’s doing extremely well and receiving great feedback from the staff.
