Join me in welcoming Hannah Dereje, student athlete at Elon University who passionately shared her reasons to join our community; "After looking through the videos and articles, I’ve grown fond of the philosophy of The New Heart for Life Community. Dan’s story is inspiring and is great at encouraging getting back into wellness after health setbacks. As an athlete myself, I have dealt with quite a few health scares and some have even had me questioning if I can ever play my sport again. I’ve also had times where I wasn’t prioritizing my health due to outside circumstances, but eventually backfired on me. I had to self-reflect and address my issues before getting to feeling better.
