Very cool to see this university-backed crowdfunded cultured meat project get off the ground in Italy! The project has the dual goal of increasing the awareness of local research in the field and raising funding to transition technologies developed in human cells into animal cell lines. The reception of this project has already been huge, gathering >200 supporters and reaching the first milestone of 10K euros in just two weeks! You can help this group work towards the more ambitious goal of reaching 40-100K to purchase a lab-scale bioreactor (the more funds, the larger!) to be in a position to demonstrate scale-up feasibility for their approach.
