The staff of New Hampshire Hospital received an official commendation from Governor Sununu and Council Members for our work during and after the November 17 shooting incident. WMUR TV reports, “The governor commended the staff for continuing operations during and after the incident, putting patient care and safety first. ‘Through all that tragedy, through all the stress, all the drama of what was happening, they made sure that in the moment, that those individuals were safe and secure," Sununu said. "But even the days and weeks afterwards, the aftermath has been very, very tough.’ The Governor’s commendation recognized us for our compassionate care, endurance, dedication, and adaptability while demonstrating bravery, courage and resilience under difficult circumstances and ensuring excellent patient care.
