Walmart launched our "trayless" (no plastic tray) snack packaging in 2021, and since then Ocean's Halo has removed tens of millions of single-use plastic trays from supermarket shelves, where they otherwise end up in our landfills and oceans. We love bringing food innovation to market, yet perhaps even more gratifying is bringing a simple packaging innovation to market that has real impact for our planet, consumers, and retailers (more shelf space!) Even our competitors have started to launch similar packaging (our biggest compliment :). We proudly report our data to Walmart's Project Gigaton annually, yet we now only produce snacks withOUT plastic trays to all our great retail partners in North America and Europe.
