The six presenting were Dan Champoux from GEKOT Robotics Inc.; Josef Hjelmaker from Electric Outdoors; Lynne Matallana from PainTools ?; Tim Moore from Clixie AI; Joey Panella from Decimal Code; and Ashley M. Williams from RIZZARR. Special congratulations to Josef and Electric Outdoors for winning the $50K prize in the Mobility category, Joey and Decimal Code for winning the $50K prize in the Healthcare category and then also going on to win the People's Choice Award for an additional $50K check. Thanks also go to Lauren de Vries, Mike Flanagan and the entire Ann Arbor SPARK team for putting on a wonderful event. NEF is proud to be a program partner. Onward and upward for all!

New Enterprise Forum Coaching. Perfecting. Connecting. At our NEF monthly forum meeting this past Thursday, we did all that and more. We had a showcase investor presentation from Elliot Smith, PE, Founder and CEO of Motmot, after his completion of the NEF coaching process. (And we also all sang Happy Birthday to Elliot!). We had a truly insightful educational panel discussion on the topic of "Hiring Right - When and How to Hire Your Team and Advisors" that was moderated by Jen Laidlaw, Owner of TeamWerks Talent Development and Consulting, LLC with our panelists being Kurt Baumgarten, Partner at GM Ventures, David Behen, Chief Client Success Officer and Co-Founder of SensCy and Michael Kloc, CEO and Founder of Forest Harbor Ventures. And, of course, we had networking opportunities before and after the program. It was a wonderful event, as we helped kick off the start of #a2Tech360 program from Ann Arbor SPARK. Thanks to all who attended and participated and a special thanks to NETSCOUT for hosting us!
