For over thirty years, New Energy Works has been one of the nation's preeminent timber frame and post and beam builders. We offer a range of services including timber frame design and engineering, high performance enclosures, fine woodworking, and of course, some of the most elegant and lyrical timber frames in the industry. We’ve had the privilege of working with some great clients. Some have been struggling young couples who want a modest home in the Finger Lakes region of New York – others have been high-end architects and builders creating magnificent lodges high in the mountains of Colorado. Their common denominator is the love of fine wood, elegant design and old-world craftsmanship.

It’s arrived! Our new Italian-made timber cutting line is now in its place in the NEWBeamery here in McMinnville, Oregon. Able to cut 12’ deep by 48” wide by 60’ long timbers, we’re pretty excited. Our European technicians are due on site to install and train. We’re going to feed them Portland’s BEST PIZZA to see if it stands up to scrutiny.
