All lithium-ion batteries lose useful power over a lifetime of charge/discharge cycles resulting from the heat and electrochemical degradation of the organic (carbon-based) electrolyte materials in conventional lithium-ion batteries. These organic materials are also highly volatile, highly flammable and very toxic. NDE's inorganic liquids by definition resist heat, therefore even as an additive (a small percentage of inorganic material to replace the organic material), it slows the degradation of the electrolyte, leading to up to 50% more charge cycles. Also, because it is inorganic, it will not burn and is not volatile. The result is a dramatic improvement is safety. Finally, because of its thermal and electrochemical stability, NDE’s inorganic liquid enables the use of higher energy electrodes leading to a battery with increased energy density. NDE is a Delaware “C” corporation and holds an exclusive license from Idaho National Laboratory for the issued patents protecting this new material. Today, NDE has begun manufacturing at its pilot scale manufacturer and is aggressively pursuing commercialization. A number of commercial companies are now conducting evaluations of the material in their batteries as a final step toward adoption. NDE is a member of the Austin Technology Incubator and the Koffman Southern Tier Incubator at SUNY Binghamton. AFWERX: Phase One/Phase Two (20.3)/2-Phase Two (23.4)/Phase One (23.5)

It's been too long since any news was posted here. That's actually a good thing because it means that New Dominion has been very busy, and without too much time to add to our LinkedIn page. So quickly, this past few weeks have been eventful, as most weeks are. But in the last 10 days or so, we've begun the process of "friend-shoring" our precursor material and escaping the grip of sourcing this critical material from China. There will be more news on this as the next few weeks and months progressed. Last week, our 4th patent protecting our future breakthrough, a 100% inorganic liquid electrolyte was issued, US Patent 12,119,452.

New Dominion Enterprises has attended its first ever battery conference, the Defense Power and Energy Conference (#DPEC) sponsored by the Military Power Sources Consortium (#MPSC). Thanks to Marc D. Gietter (President) and James Trevey, Ph.D (Vice President), the event ran smoothly and was extremely informative with a number of packed presentation sessions. A big plus was the ability to meet a number of people in person with whom we've been working for years, and very forward looking discussions that have the potential of expanding our business.

Lithium metal anodes. We've shown pure compatibility. Early results show good cycling and suppression of dendrites. Third party testing has gotten to 300 cycles. So, Harvard claims to have a "lithium metal battery that can be charge 6000 times." With respect, that's research folks. https://lnkd.in/gp-TwQ79 Consider the reality. New Dominion's inorganic liquid solvent is being tested by battery manufacturers. Yes, it is early. But isn't laboratory testing. Two quotes from the article: 1) Lithium metal anode batteries are considered the holy grail of batteries because they have ten times the capacity of commercial graphite anodes and could drastically increase the driving distance of electric vehicles... 2) The ultimate challenge is still the ability to mass-produce these batteries?at a lower price than lithium-ion batteries. That will be the real game-changer for EVs. Inorganic liquid solvents...very likely the solution to the adoption of higher energy electrodes. #inorganicLiquids Reach out to us. We are in production with our inorganic liquid solvent and in multiple commercial validation tests. We combine government contracts with commercial validation testing.
