Nominate a Racial Equity Leader for an Exciting New Award! New Detroit will recognize five leaders at its annual leadership conference on October 17th at the Icon, Detroit. Honorees of the?Just Lead: Advancing Racial Equity 2024 Leadership Awards?will be recognized during lunch and participate in a fireside chat with New Detroit’s CEO, Michael Rafferty. Nominations are due by 5pm, May 1st. New Detroit is excited to attend the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services - A Movement of Anti-Racism Transformation Conference. New Detroit Directors, Marshalle Favors & Rebecca Irby led a session at the conference called, “Storytelling to Advance Racial Justice.”
