This past weekend, Alex Gano visited the #MilnerParkCommunityCooperative to celebrate the recent acquisition of their mobile home park! Across Colorado, mobile home parks are being sold at exorbitant prices, often resulting in the loss of long-standing communities. Through community organizing and creative and generous fundraising, the Milner Park Community Coop purchased their park and are here to stay!! Special thanks to #YampaValleyCommunityFoundation and the YAMPA VALLEY HOUSING AUTHORITY who helped make this community success possible!

Congratulations to our client, the City of Craig's Housing Authority, and the 8th Street Redevelopment Project! Through a $1.5 million IHOI grant for infrastructure and land from Memorial Regional Health, this development provides 20 deed-restricted, energy efficient modular townhomes (sourced from Fading West). This project was created specifically with local families and Memorial Regional Hospital employees in mind, successfully creating affordable and accessible housing options in the City of Craig, CO.

Another big congratulations to the East Colfax Community Collective and the East Colfax Mixed Income Neighborhood Trust (MINT) for the purchase of their first property! The MINT is an innovative rent stabilization model that is quickly gaining interest and popularity across the nation. We at NCL are excited to help with a community ownership model that aims to create sustainable affordability in the East Colfax Corridor.

Last fall, we had the pleasure of co-hosting a Willoughby Corner Development site tour and Q&A panel with Housing Colorado and Boulder County Housing Authority (BCHA). Together we discussed the complex facets of this fully-electric, Net Zero Ready Homes Certified, master-planned community. The development includes 400 homes, combining affordable rental options and permanently affordable for-sale opportunities, tailored to meet the needs of families, individuals, older adults, and local workers.
