关于我们
New Bridge Strategy is an opinion research company specializing in public policy and campaign research. Our roots are in Republican politics, but we have worked as members of bipartisan research teams and led coalitions across the political spectrum in crafting winning ballot measure campaigns, public education campaigns, and legislative policy efforts. We help our clients bridge divides to create winning majorities. New Bridge Strategy provides personalized attention that does not end when the research is completed. We are partners throughout the effort. We know how to make research actionable for our clients, so that they not only come away knowing where they start, but how to get to their ultimate goal – whether that is defeating a bad piece of legislation, winning a ballot proposal, or motivating voters to take a specific action on behalf of their cause.

January is a time of reflection and goal-setting for many, as it is for us. This time is always special for us because it also marks the founding of our firm! Six years ago, we started New Bridge Strategy out of a belief that the divisions we see are not insurmountable chasms, but opportunities for connection. Since then, we have helped over 100 clients by listening to voters and consumers across the country and internationally. We have dedicated ourselves to bridging gaps in understanding, fostering dialogue, and drawing insight from voices that often go unheard. We are proud of everything we have accomplished on behalf of our clients since our beginning, including over 40 election day wins. But we’re even more excited to see what comes next. Our goal for this next year is to continue to work with you to understand public opinion and shape successful campaigns that leave the world better than how we found it. Thank you for your support and partnership over the past six years – we can’t wait to see where we go together in the future!

2025 is sure to be a challenging landscape for #Publichealth. Eric Anderson and I offered up some tough love to help restore trust in this MedCity News piece.
#Publichealth faces a once-in-century challenge, caused not by disease but by a crisis in confidence. Nationally recognized #publicopinion expert Lori Weigel and I take a hard look at the issue and how to restore trust in this new MedCity News column. Progress starts with resetting our approach to communications. "We must not blame the audience when our messages fall flat but rather look at the substance and delivery of our messaging. Are we connecting with our audience’s values, and meeting them where they are? Are we treating them with respect and not being dismissive of contrarian viewpoints? Are we lecturing or listening?" https://lnkd.in/gQpH-fHw Grateful for those who continue to innovate and lead in this area including (in no particular order) David Higgins, MD, MPH Colorado Public Health Association American Public Health Association The Montana Institute Colorado School of Public Health Colorado Health Institute Oregon Public Health Association Leana Wen M.D. M.Sc. Thanksgiving used to embody the idealized image of family coming together for food and heart-to-heart discussion. But in our divided times, voters have told us they are avoiding talking about anything political with family and friends. So, what can fill the conversation gap at?your?Thanksgiving meal? At New Bridge Strategy, we specialize in bridging divides. Our suggestion: Dolly Parton. From her rural roots and “pull yourself up by your bootstraps” appeal for your right-leaning uncle, to her feminist streak in?9-to-5?for your lefty cousins, Dolly is something we can all agree on these days. That's why in gratitude for a successful 2024 — helping clients on issues like education, healthcare, and rural economies, all causes Dolly has championed — we’re making a donation to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, which puts books into the hands of children. This Thanksgiving, we’re thankful for our diverse clients, the work we do listening to Americans across the partisan spectrum, and, of course, Dolly. Happy Thanksgiving! In gratitude, Lori, Kathryn, Karoline, and Tessa?

While voters in red states like Missouri and Alaska passed minimum wage increases, we helped craft the messaging to defeat a poorly designed minimum wage ballot measure in the City of Glendale Arizona. The measure singled out hospitality and hotel workers only, required a new City department to oversee labor issues, and created an arcane system that would have resulted in some workers' compensation being higher than the average local teacher. Our survey helped craft and focus the messaging on the cost impact on families at a time of already?spiraling cost of living, and resulted in the overwhelming defeat with 57% voting No.
