What an inspiring day in New Bedford! I spent time this week in the city speaking with Jon Mitchell, touring the New Bedford Marine Commerce Terminal (our current marshaling port for Vineyard Wind) and joining Andrew B. Saunders for a tour of the Foss Marine Terminal, which will serve as the operations and maintenance port for Vineyard Wind 2 if our bid is selected. I’m energized by New Bedford's commitment to innovation, collaboration, and transformative clean energy development – it's a passion shared by all of us at Vineyard Offshore. Our visit showcased the many people and organizations leading the national conversation in #offshorewind, and I’m excited about our continued partnership with the city and Foss Marine! And on a personal note, seeing offshore wind finally become a reality at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center's Marine Commerce Terminal brings me more personal pride than I can describe. #ICYMI: Last week, our team toured the site of Vineyard Wind 2's upcoming operations and maintenance port, the New Bedford Foss Marine Terminal.
