?? Building the Future of Construction in Nevada! ?? We’re thrilled to share that the Nevada Contractors Association, in collaboration with the CCOR Committee, Helix Electric, GSL Electric, and Berg Electric, interviewed 14 outstanding high school students for a unique on-the-job training opportunity in the electrical field. Starting in the second semester of their senior year, these students will gain hands-on experience with member contractors. If they’re a great fit for the company culture, they’ll have the opportunity to transition into full-time roles upon graduation. This initiative, now in its third year, continues to deliver incredible outcomes—opening doors for students while addressing workforce challenges in the construction industry. We couldn’t achieve this without the commitment of our workforce committee (CCOR) and the contractors who mentor and invest in these future electricians. Your dedication ensures these students gain not only technical skills but also the confidence to thrive in their careers. We’re excited to follow these students’ journeys and look forward to celebrating their success!
