The Nevada District Export Council (NDEC) is comprised of many dedicated volunteers, serving the interests of others, in order to share resources and spread the message of how exporting can benefit Nevada businesses and their workers.
NDEC believes that foreign trade can benefit all of us. International trade produces good, competitive jobs in the U.S. and growth in our local and national economies and builds commercial and personal relationships everywhere we trade. Our goal at NDEC is to support the efforts of the U.S. Department of Commerce (USDOC) to increase export competitiveness and competency and to help more U.S. businesses enter, broaden, and expand into global markets.
Our mission is to contribute leadership, expertise, advocacy, advice, and support to the international business community and work with USDOC’s export training and assistance programs, in collaboration with Nevada’s U.S. Export Assistance Centers, other DECs in the region and other public and private organizations and partners. Through our experience we understand the complexity of international cross border transactions and we join together to share our knowledge, experience, and lessons learned to help others succeed in the realization of their own strategic business plans.
