PARTNERS Family Resources and the Nevada County Superintendent of Schools (NCSOS) are thrilled to announce the 3rd annual?Latino Family Festival, taking place on Thursday, September 12th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Condon Park in Grass Valley. This vibrant event is open to everyone and offers a unique opportunity to celebrate and connect with Latinx cultures within our community. ? The festival aims to connect local families with a wide range of community partners. Over 40 local agencies will be present, offering valuable information and resources on health services, wellness opportunities, social services, education, art, and more. Bilingual staff will be available throughout the event to ensure all families have full access to the information and services provided. ? Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic dinner and immerse themselves in the festivities, which will include Latino DJ music, singing, dancing, and various activities for children. The Latino Family Festival is more than just a celebration; it’s an opportunity to build stronger connections within our community and provide essential resources to families. ? Get ready for the biggest Back-to-School event in Nevada County! What: HOPE for Nevada County When: August 3, from 10 AM - 1 PM (or until supplies run out) Where: Nevada Union (Hooper Stadium) Local businesses, non-profits, and civic leaders have partnered to throw a completely free Back-to-School event to help struggling families get ready for the start of the school year! They'll be handing out backpacks filled with school supplies, new shoes and socks, and lots of groceries! Free haircuts and activities for both kids and teens as well as FREE lunch for the whole family! Join us as we spread a little HOPE in Nevada County.
