Providing innovative financing and market solutions to accelerate clean energy in the state
关于我们
The Nevada Clean Energy Fund (NCEF) is a non-profit organization created in 2017 by state legislation. NCEF’s mandate is to increase financing for clean energy projects in Nevada in a way that improves quality of life for Nevadans, reduces energy costs, creates jobs, and meaningfully addresses climate change. Clean energy projects can include renewable energy, energy efficiency, transportation electrification, and vehicle alternative fuels. NCEF was incubated over the course of four years with the support of the Coalition for Green Capital (CGC) and the NCEF Board of Directors, consisting of state government officials and nominees representing labor and local community interests from across the state. NCEF formally launched in early 2022.

?? #FederalGrantVictory ?? We’re thrilled to celebrate Nevada Clean Energy Fund (NCEF) and the Agai Dicutta (Walker River Paiute Tribe) for securing a monumental $19.9 million grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Environmental and Climate Justice Community Change Grants Program! ???? This vital project will bring clean water, energy, and food infrastructure, supporting over 1,200 community members. Key initiatives include home energy upgrades, the development of a Community Resilience Hub, and a critical water system improvement project. Nevada GrantLab is proud to have supported NCEF in accessing this funding. The collaboration between these organizations represents the power of partnerships in securing significant resources for long-term progress. We couldn’t be more excited to see this project come to life! ?? THANK YOU and congratulations to all involved.
