As President of the American Institute of Architects Fort Lauderdale Chapter, I was overjoyed to lead a group of 9 Chapter members and 19 student members (Go FAU!!!!) as we walked the halls of the Capital building in Tallahassee talking about issues that affect Architects, the built environment and the citizens of the State of Florida.?Our group had the pleasure of meeting with many of our elected officials including Representative Dan Daley, Senator Dr. Barbara Sharief, Senator Jason Pizzo, Representative Lisa Dunkley and Representative Chip LaMarca.?Our students did an incredible job explaining the issues to our Senators and Representatives.?A big thank you also to the staff of AIA Florida for setting up meetings, planning our entire day and keeping us informed of upcoming legislation. – Jason Hagopian, AIA #aiafla25 Florida Atlantic University FAU School of Architecture AIA Florida

Attending the winter Rensselaer Alumni Association Board meeting in Troy NY last week was productive and fun.
