March is #MSAwarenessMonth, a time to amplify awareness and advance the conversation around #multiplesclerosis (MS). MS is an autoimmune disease where the body's immune system attacks its own central nervous system, leading to a wide range of debilitating symptoms.? ? At Neuron23, research is driving innovation in targeted therapies aimed at disrupting immune system attacks on myelin. TYK2, a key protein in immune signaling, has emerged as a promising target in the pursuit of better treatments for MS. Continued research and collaboration are critical in the fight against this disease. Click the post below to find resources on how to support the MS community. ?
March is MS Awareness Month and this year, MSAA is proud to provide programs and resources focusing on the theme “Empowered from the Start with MSAA,” highlighting education, empowerment, and support for individuals who are newly diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. As #BlackHistoryMonth comes to a close, we're proud to celebrate not only the contributions of Black scientists but also the vibrant cultural spaces that uplift Black voices. A few of our team members had the opportunity to attend The Function, the Bay Area's first Black-owned comedy club, to celebrate Black comedians and the power of laughter to bring communities together. Honoring history happens in many ways, whether it be through science, storytelling, or shared experiences, and we're grateful to be part of a community that champions diversity.

Last week, we welcomed the?#LunarNewYear?with a festive celebration featuring traditional foods and symbolic fruits, such as oranges for prosperity, golden dragon fruit for strength, and crisp apples for peace. The Year of the Snake symbolizes luck, rebirth, and regality -- qualities we embrace as we reflect on the year with gratitude and step forward into new opportunities. Wishing our team and partners?a year of success, growth, and prosperity!?
