Here’s a fun idea... You bring the passion + design experience, we’ll bring the business model The home industry is complex because it demands two things: good design & creativity plus a solid business model. This is what happens when you build a business on strong processes and operations... you create a formula for rapid growth and success. Linden Creek started as a passion project, and as a result of thoughtful and intentional systems, has become the first INTERIOR DESIGN & HOME STAGING FRANCHISE. Because one person took the time to create *documented* systems and *tangible* resources, people can now own their own successful interior design studio. Don't underestimate the power of resources. In today's world, we move so fast in our jobs that we skip the 'pen to paper' step. But if we take the time to write the caption in a document OR outline the steps for repurposing blog content for socials, email, ads, etc., you're not only helping your future self, but potentially many others to come! Long-term thinking is > short-term thinking.
I went from starting my business in my garage as a passion project to styling some of the most premiere homes in North Carolina... It’s crazy to think that this whole journey started with my passion project of flipping homes. It worked out better than I could have ever dreamed and gained traction faster than I was ready for. There would be days when we needed inventory in a pinch and I was snagging decor from my own house and borrowing toys from my daughters’ playroom for staging. Oh, how times have changed ?? But I’m grateful for how much I’ve learned throughout this process. To learn more about how to make this a reality, comment “franchise”, or explore linden-creek.com/franchise hashtag #franchise hashtag #interiordesign hashtag #homestaging hashtag #brand hashtag #marketing hashtag #ownastudio hashtag #entrepreneurship hashtag #strategy hashtag #ceo

?? The Intersection of Design and Well-Being: Exploring Neuroaesthetics in Home Design ?? Ever heard of?neuroaesthetics? It’s a fascinating field in neuroscience that explores the connection between our health and our experiences with art and beauty. In the context of home design, this means looking at how the visual and tactile elements of our living spaces can impact our well-being. Here are three key insights I’ve gathered about how design influences our health: 1. Colors and Their Impact on Calmness and Heart Rate ?? Colors are more than just visual elements—they can profoundly affect our mood and physiological state. Studies in neuroaesthetics reveal that different colors can have varying effects on our calmness and heart rate. For example, soft blues and greens are known to promote relaxation and lower heart rates, while vibrant reds and oranges may energize or even increase stress levels. By choosing the right color palette for your home, you can create a space that supports a sense of calm and tranquility. 2. Sensory Design Through Material Selections ?? The materials used in home design play a significant role in our sensory experience. Textures, finishes, and even the weight of materials can influence how we feel in a space. For instance, soft, plush fabrics may make a room feel cozy and inviting, while sleek, hard surfaces might create a more sterile, modern atmosphere. Sensory design is about selecting materials that align with your desired emotional state and comfort level, thereby influencing your overall well-being. 3. Greenery and Nature Elements for Enhanced Mood?? Incorporating elements of nature into your home design can have remarkable effects on your mood and cognitive function. Research suggests that having greenery and natural elements in your living space can enhance your mood, improve concentration, and reduce stress levels. Whether it’s through indoor plants, natural wood finishes, or views of the outdoors, bringing a touch of nature into your home can foster a more uplifting and invigorating environment. Neuroaesthetics provides valuable insights into how the art of home design affects our health and well-being. By understanding the impact of colors, materials, and natural elements, you can make design choices that not only enhance the beauty of your space but also contribute to a healthier and more balanced lifestyle. So next time you’re redecorating or designing a new space, consider how these elements can work together to create a home that supports both your aesthetic preferences and your well-being.

?? THE IMPORTANCE OF NETWORKING IN DESIGN ?? The Importance of Networking in the Design World: Building Valuable Connections and Partnerships. Navigating Client Relationships: Effective Communication and Managing Expectations. One question I’m always asked is what my favorite part of owning a business is. For me, it’s building client relationships. What often starts as a sales call or a new project frequently turns into a lasting friendship. On the staging side, many of our clients are builders or realtors. We build relationships, watch their businesses grow, and support them while we grow our own business. It’s fun to check in regularly, see how they’re doing, witness their incredible achievements, and discuss challenges together. In interior design, clients can be part of our lives for anywhere from four months to over two years. We become intimately involved in their homes and daily lives, making them an extension of our own lives. These relationships are the most invaluable aspect of business success, in my opinion. They help grow your business and build a referral network. Beyond that, they inspire you to take things to the next level and find new opportunities to grow, making every connection a great opportunity. If you’re interested in learning more about building valuable connections and partnerships in the design world, I’d love to share my insights and experiences.
