I've been supervising a group of students over the past year who designed and and are now building a rocket for a competition in Machrihanish Scotland where they will be competing against other universities from across the United Kingdom. The University of Hertfordshire engineering department generously provided funding for the competition fees and hardware procurement but they could use some more support to help pay for travel, lodging, apparel, and some hardware contingency in case something goes wrong.
