关于我们

Neuberg Gore is a premier executive coaching firm that helps startup CEOs and their leadership teams gain the mindsets and leadership skills to scale their companies. We have worked with close to 1,200 startup CEOs and their executives who are building next-generation technologies and consumer brands. Clients have included: Harry’s, PolicyGenius, Electric, Kickstarter, Cedar, Amplitude, VSCO, Sonder, Deep Genomics, Andreessen Horowitz, and hundreds more. Our team members’ collective experience includes 100s of startups, the Fortune 500, the US military, NASA, and Burning Man. Our firm’s CEO Jason Gore has developed a methodology called the Saturn Leadership Index (SLI) that outlines dozens of behaviors needed to build thriving startups. The SLI is the backbone for all of our firm’s programs. It took years to develop by tracking over 225 founders and their executives. The tool is available here for free: https://www.neuberggore.com/sli. Another comprehensive tool for challenging conversations is here for free: https://tinyurl.com/2p864hx5. >50% of the successful entrepreneurs I know swear by a CEO or executive coach. CEO coaches can pattern match across businesses of different sizes and give you unbiased feedback on what to do to get to the next level. I’ve seen CEO coaches help founders: - get from $1M to $10M/yr by applying a different way of thinking than from $0 to $1M - scale from a 10-person team to a 50-person team by transforming their leadership style significantly - remove mental hurdles to make the journey more fun and less stressful… So on November 21, we’re hosting a FREE workshop for founders and CEOS led by Craig Revord & Robert MacNaughton — two CEO coaches who have worked with 200+ founders and CEOs. We only have 26 spots. Please apply here: https://lnkd.in/eXS7ZT9P

“Being a CEO is a lonely job: the failures are yours to own and the successes are always shared.” -Sheldon Fernandez, CEO of DarwinAI. On this episode of the CEO War Stories Podcast, Sheldon shares many of his insights and lessons learned from his journey in building DarwinAI. Sheldon highlighted how he sees the top responsibilities of a CEO: 1. Ensure there is money in the bank. 2. Make sure you have a succinct vision–and that everyone in the company understands that vision. 3. Build a strong team that believes in that vision and can execute. 4. Stay connected to the parts of the job you truly enjoy (e.g.: coding, sales, or thought leadership) to maintain your motivation. On top of knowing your role, one of Sheldon’s key pieces of advice to fellow CEOs is: take care of your mental health. Your ability to perform at full capacity is entirely connected to your focus, clarity, and mental well-being. Per Sheldon: as a CEO, you don’t have the space to talk about your anxieties, insecurities, and doubts. Running a startup means dealing with lots of fires, all the time. It’s a lonely job and the failures are always yours to own. You need to remember why you started this journey and what drives you to keep going. I found that having an Executive Coach was incredibly important. In my opinion, the guidance of an expert coach is essential to prepare the CEO with the mental strength they need to excel as a leader. In fact, Sheldon was so moved by his experience of working with Jason Gore and the Neuberg Gore team, when he exited Darwin, he joined the team and became an advisor! I’m curious–how has executive coaching supported you–in decision-making, clarity, thought-partnership, accountability, etc? Let us know in the comments! Check out the full CEO War Stories interview with Sheldon and more about DarwinAI In the comments.

Startup CEO Coach at Neuberg Gore, specializing in AI, aviation, and tech startups.

Bryan Neuberg passed away a few weeks ago from complications from Parkinson's. He was my friend, cofounder, business partner (the Neuberg of Neuberg Gore), and an extraordinary coach. Yesterday would have been his birthday. I've had so many emotions come in waves over the past few weeks--grief, sadness, relief, disbelief. Today, I mostly want to celebrate Bryan. I am remembering all the great times we shared, what we accomplished together in building the coaching firm, the challenges that we overcame with integrity and generosity, and his wise, witty humor that brought lightness and connection through it all. There were so many sides of Bryan and I only got to see some of them. I wish I had more time to have been able to enjoy his passionate quirks. We spent more time talking about the Oxford comma than I will with any other human being. Even in our business charter, we wrote, with humor, that we were committed to using just one space after a period... really, it's in our official business charter from 2015. As the condolences come from colleagues, clients, coaches and friends, I am astounded by the impact Bryan had on so many people. Several people this week wrote to me and told me that he had the biggest impact on their lives—professionally and personally— more than any other person in their lives. Bryan was an extraordinary human and an extraordinary coach. If he impacted or moved you in some way, the greatest gift we can give to Bryan is to live our lives in the highest integrity we know how, and to pass on the gift of empathy, listening, and tuned-in, tough love to the people we care about. A page has been setup to honor Bryan's life and share condolences:
