This week, we concluded our Northeastern Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowships campus visits at the University of Washington and University of California, San Francisco, where we had the pleasure of engaging with pharmacy students eager to learn about our fellowship program and the diverse opportunities within the pharmaceutical industry. Grateful for the warm welcome and insightful conversations that transpired from our visits. A big thank you to our hosts Seongsoo Park and Sammy Nguyen for helping with the coordination of these enriching experiences! Meet Allison for this week’s #FellowShoutOut! Allison Dinh is a second-year Competitive Intelligence and Medical Information Fellow at GSK. The team at GSK would like to recognize Allison’s incredible leadership on a recent conference. Maria Movafegh, Director of Oncology Global Strategic Insights and Noelle Wilson, PharmD shared some kind words about Allison’s work: “Allison Dinh played a key role in successful competitive intelligence coverage of the ESMO conference not only for the indications she supports directly, but also in a leadership role for the competitive intelligence team as a whole. In addition to flagging key learnings from sessions of interest directly within her remit and leading a debrief at the conference, Allison developed the overarching logistical plan in order to ensure everyone knew where they needed to be when and what they needed to be doing. She was able to guide the team to ensure everything ran smoothly—no small task given how many internal and external demands conferences can hold. Allison’s work at ESMO was that of a seasoned competitive intelligence professional and speaks to her strong work ethic and questioning mindset.”

Two of our fellows, Samin Malek Marzban, PharmD, MBAc and Matthew Doenges, PharmD, MS, represented Northeastern’s post-doctoral fellowship programs and partner companies at the Fellowship and Residency Showcase during AMCP Nexus 2024 in Las Vegas this past week.
