?? Exciting News for Northern Michigan! ?? Grow Benzie is one of the 13 recipients of the $10.6 million MITTEN grant aimed at enhancing digital access across Michigan! ?? The grant will provide $857,870 to support digital equity in 10 counties in Northwest Lower Michigan, including Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, and more. With the support of amazing partners like Networks Northwest, Central Michigan University, and the United Way of Northwest Michigan, this initiative will increase broadband access, digital skills, and affordability for underserved communities. As Jackie Borozan, Growth Manager, Grow Benzie states: “In Northwest Lower Michigan, broadband access is the foundation for areas such as expanding telehealth use, supporting workforce development, and expanding civic engagement. Through community partnerships, we can work toward closing the digital divide, because no one should be left behind in an era where connectivity determines opportunity.” Together, we’re building a more connected and inclusive Michigan! ????
