Last week, in partnership with Network Health WI, Sojourner had the honor of hosting Compassion in Action: Turning Awareness into Advocacy to learn more about the intersection of housing instability and intimate partner violence (IPV). The insights shared on the complex issue of homelessness and IPV was both enlightening and thought-provoking, sparking important conversations on how we can work together to create positive change in our community. At Sojourner, we are hopeful about continuing these crucial conversations and collaborating with those passionate about creating a lasting impact for domestic violence survivors. ? On Friday, 3/21/2025,?Dr. Erin Schubert will be holding an informational session on her report, "Homelessness, Housing Instability, and Intimate Partner Violence". The Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame is proud to celebrate Black History Month in February by highlighting the amazing accomplishments of several of our inductees on the LED board that is part of the HOF Walkway presented by Network Health WI outside of the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena in downtown Milwaukee.
