Today, on National STEM Day, we're celebrating how science and entrepreneurship come together to solve humanity's greatest challenges! Through NFTE's World Series of Innovation (WSI) and the aramco Clean Water Challenge, students ages 5-24 are designing innovative solutions to transform dirty and salinized water into safe drinking water for their communities. “During this volunteer session, I learned about the importance and value of credit in everyday life. It convinced me to start working on my credit as soon as I turn 18.” On October 29, 82 NFTE students joined a financial literacy workshop led by 28 dedicated volunteers from Mastercard and Citi, hosted by the Academy of Finance and Enterprise. Students learned from Citi and Mastercard leaders who shared their early experiences with budgeting and personal finance, helping them understand the essentials of savings, credit, and financial management for their entrepreneurial journeys. Thank you to volunteers who shared insights, including panelists MICHELLE BAGE, Zebradedra Hunter, Mahin R., and David Lago, and to Ariadne Reza for leading an interactive budgeting lesson and credit game.
