?? Exciting Announcement: Sticks 'n Stones Joins Forces with Netsafe New Zealand! ?? From Term 1, 2025, Sticks 'n Stones will officially become part of Netsafe New Zealand! For over a decade, Sticks 'n Stones has empowered young people to lead change in their schools and communities through innovative workshops, training, and action projects. Now, as part of Netsafe, we’ll expand our reach, amplify our impact, and continue to tackle bullying while promoting safe, positive online and offline environments. You’ll start to see ‘Powered by Netsafe’ on our resources and website, reflecting this exciting new chapter. We’re proud of what we’ve achieved together and can’t wait to see the impact of this collaboration with Netsafe. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported our journey so far. Our Primary School programme – Hector's World? - launched in May 2024. An animated series created for children aged 5-10, it is supported by te reo Māori translations, classroom and home resources for educators and parents to use for free. Through our close work with schools and parents, we knew that younger education was needed. A recent parent survey told us that 30% of New Zealand parents had/would introduce the first internet-enabled device to their children between the ages of 5-7, long before social media use typically begins. You can see more insights like this in our Year in Review report here: https://lnkd.in/gsAdxvmX
