Reflecting back on #ENETS2025, it was impressive to see researchers and clinicians work across countries to benefit #neuroendocrinecancer patients. ?? The science is impressive. Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation congratulates our grantees whose work was recognized on this world stage. ?? ?? Dr. Jennifer Chan Dana-Farber Cancer Institute won the Hakan Ahlman award for best paper of the year, for her lead role in the CABINET trial, published in 2024 in NEJM. In 2018, NETRF funded a?pilot project?led by Dr. Chan to explore biomarkers that might predict patient responses to cabozantinib. Iacovos Michael received a first place award for best oral abstract for preclinical work on BH-3 mimetic drugs. Dr. James Yao of MD Anderson Cancer Center received a second place award for presenting work on new laboratory models of #NETS, work funded by NETRF.
