Netherlands Agricultural Network in Kenya and Tanzania

?? His Majesty King Willem-Alexander and Her Majesty Queen Máxima are to pay a state visit to Kenya, at the invitation of President William Ruto. The visit will take place from Tuesday 18 to Thursday 20 March 2025. ?? This first state visit to Kenya is a reaffirmation of the good relations and solid cooperation between our two countries. The Netherlands seeks to engage in new partnerships in various areas, and to deepen the countries’ existing ties. Kenya plays an increasingly influential role in the global arena. In addition, the Netherlands and Kenya maintain close economic relations, and both are major hubs and gateways to large regions. Within the UN and other international organisations, too, our two countries work together actively towards goals relating to democracy, the rule of law and independence of the judiciary. The Netherlands and Kenya also work together on challenges relating to peace and security, climate change and food security. ?? ?? #Kenya is home to more than 35,000 species of #flora and #fauna. However, the country's biodiversity is increasingly under threat from climate change, deforestation and agricultural expansion. These growing environmental issues form the backdrop for Capital Africa Agribusiness Ventures LTD managing director Bob van der Bijl’s ambitious landscape restoration project in Malindi.
