?? What a year it's been for the Fordham Net Impact Club! As we wrap up the academic year, let's reflect on our sustainability and social impact journey, led by MBA grads Luís Otávio Fernandez Pinto and Walder Almeida. This year, our inaugural Sustainability 360° Workshop Series took a deep dive into critical topics like greenhouse gas accounting, sustainable finance, and climate investing. The club hosted four events under the Workshop Series with an average attendance of 35 students (our FT-MBA class is around ~100 students total). Students learned about the complexities of these pressing issues with insights from industry heavyweights Caroline Demeter, Thomas Englerth, Eric Lee, Tanatswa Mapondera, Nathan Cole, Stephanie Lavallato, MBA, Sara Chesnos, CPA, Kelly Sullivan, CPA and more. A special thanks to Prof. Peter Lupoff, who kicked off our Workshop, and Lonnie Kussin (Student Success Center) and Leigh Anne Statuto, MBA (Responsible Business Center) for sponsoring our Fall events.?At the end of our Workshop, the Club issued Certificates of Achievement to students who attended two or more sessions. Spring brought further excitement with a special focus on social impact inside large corps, guided by insights from MBA alum and former club president, Kostapanos Miliaresis. Plus, our networking events continued to forge invaluable connections among MBAs and MS students passionate about sustainability. A massive thank you to our club board members for their dedication and to every student who engaged with us this academic year—your enthusiasm fuels our mission! ??
