We are excited to announce that Nestlé scientists have created an algorithm that can help predict a dog’s biological age and their overall health trajectory.?? A dog’s biological age refers to how well their body functions and has aged, compared to other individuals with the same chronological age (birthdates). ? ?? Using existing data collected from various studies over the last 12 years, the recent study by Nestlé scientists has unveiled a unique algorithm that considers different indicators that, together, can help predict biological age. These indicators include aspects such as changes in routine blood markers and fasting glucose, as well as kidney function. ? ??
